Big Sam Sacked
Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce has just been sacked by the Toon Army.
Can’t say it wasn’t coming, with a string of poor results, but you get the impression Newcastle want to challenge Utd and Chelsea NOW, when in reality that’s a far off dream as they just don’t have the players.
As for Sam, he wants to get back into management and would be an ideal candidate for the vacant Irish manager’s position.

Rafa Benitez On Thin Ice
Rafa has guided Liverpool to the Champions League twice and won it once.
Apart from that, he’s done nothing to improve Liverpool in the league and their inability to put together any sort of a winning run is going to see them fight it out for 3rd or 4th place - yet again….
They’ve scraped through the Champions League group stages this season and should they end up with nothing, he’ll be out on his ear and rightly so. Liverpool should be challenging for the league first and foremost.
You get the impressions Benetiz is only in the job because he’s the man that won the Champions League. A lucky manager? His luck can only last so long.
